FAQ #1

What are additional charges for waiting time or stops during travel?

  • We allow fifteen (15) minutes of free waiting time for all domestic flights from the official posted arrival time.
  • We allow thirty (30) minutes of free waiting time for all international flights from the official posted arrival time.
  • Additional waiting time will be calculated in increments of 15 minutes at the vehicle’s hourly rate.
  • Tolls and parking and 20% gratuity are extra.
  • For all other reservations, including private flights, we give 15 minutes of free waiting time. Any additional waiting time will be charged in 15 minute increments based on the hourly rate for that particular vehicle.
  • Passenger-requested stops on route during point-to-point reservations will be charged $20.00 per stop for maximum of five minutes, and charges will revert to the SUV-ME hourly rate after five minutes.
  • In the event of off-route passenger-requested stops during point-to-point reservations, charges will revert to SUV-ME hourly rate.

What about cancellations and no-show fees?

  • Cancellations within four hours or less of the scheduled pickup will result in a full charge equal to the base fare price of the trip plus 20% gratuity.

What are your rates for holiday travel?

A surcharge based on market rates, including stops and waiting time, will be charged for all travel occurring on:

  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas

What is your damages policy?

  • The customer responsible for the reservation shall pay for all damages caused by the passenger or those traveling in the passenger’s party during the vehicle rental period. Such damages include but are not limited to spills, broken glasses, carpet or floor damage, smoking/cigarette burns and other damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.

Terms & Conditions

  • All rides are billed to the customer’s credit card or corporate account numbers. SUV-ME accepts the following cards: American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, and Visa.
  • A 20% gratuity will be charged for all rides. Gratuity is calculated on the base fare, stop time, wait time, and any holiday surcharges that will be added and itemized on the customer’s billing statement.
  • The following additional charges will be itemized on the customer’s billing statement when applicable: two-way tolls, airport fees and usage of the driver’s cell phone.
  • Applicable taxes will be charged as required.
  • All published rates are subject to change without notice.
  • All rates are calculated in the local currency and billed in U.S. dollars at the prevailing exchange rate.
